Bristol City are doing all they can to make sure the Tuesday night FA Cup 3rd rearranged game with Cardiff is played. With the weather still not improving, they are use the Macleod Cover system, which a number of clubs have, and are using to protect their pitches.
The pitch was being cover yesteray according to the Bristol City official website, the Macleod system consist of a blanket dome which covers the pitch and uses hot-air blowers underneath and will stay in place until hours before kick-off. The problem is not always the pitch but the area around the ground which scuppered a number of game yesterday leading to games been called off.
Again, according to the official site the FA is helping financially due to them showing the game live on the internet and of course the game will be live on S4C with English subtitles, why not duel commentary in English and Welsh?
