Could it be true, Cardiff City has the Langston Corporation off the clubs back. On the Official Cardiff City website chairman Peter Ridsdale said, “On behalf of Cardiff City Football Club, I would like to thank the Langston Corporation for their co-operation in this matter and Mr Sam Hammam for helping to facilitate this agreement.”On the BBC website he added, "Langston are happy because they are seeing some cash for the first time and we're happy because the settlement, agreement, is at a level that we believe is fair and reasonable and we can make.
"Nobody was going to invest in this football club with the threat of legal action hanging over us from Langston, given the magnitude of the debt.
"Therefore potential investors I think will see this club as an even more attractive proposition than it was before."
It is great news for the club and the fans and hopefully everyone can how push forward and we will see some new investment streams attracted to the club. There are no details of the deal at the moment but there has been so many rumours about what the club will pay and when however, the threat of any further legal proceedings have been greatly reduced.
Therefore, the end of the Sam Hammam era is in sight and well done Peter Ridsdale, he delivered the new stadium and now delivered a deal with Langston, which has been a long hard battle.
