I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Christmas / New Year run in

It looked like QPR were going to do Cardiff a favour last night by beating second place West Brom that would leave Cardiff just two points behind them. However, it was not to be, West Brom got the equaliser in the last minute of extra time so they managed to scrape a point so they are now three points ahead of the Bluebirds.

The Christmas / New Year run-in fixtures have thrown up a few interesting games but even if we are playing the bottom two in the Division, nothing should be taken for granted.

Saturday, 19 December 2009 - Cardiff v Leicester, 3pm kick-off - Third meets fifth but will fortress Cardiff City Stadium play it's part in helping make sure the three points stay's in Cardiff.
Saturday, 26 December 2009 - Cardiff v Plymouth, 1pm kick-off - It is always good to be home for Boxing Day should be a full house for the game has Cardiff face second for the bottom at the time of writing. This fixture has become a bit of a regular for this time of the year either home or away in the good old days it would have been Swansea or Newport.
Monday, 28 December 2009 - Peterborough v Cardiff, 3pm kick-off - An away game to Peterborough is the third game over the holiday period and they are rooted to the bottom of the league and are likely to be in the same situation come the Cardiff game.

Comparing the fixtures with West Brom, they will face Blackpool away and then Peterborough home and Scunthorpe away
