Another name has surface today linked with the Bluebirds according to the South Wales Echo is Steven Reid on loan at QPR from Blackburn. Like Ben Watson who is also linked with City while on loan at QPR but has returned to his parent club Wigan Athletic.
He joining QPR on loan looking for first time football only managed two games and then return to his club Blackburn. He has found his opportunities increasingly limited at Blackburn and on top of that has been subject to a number of injuries. He started his career with Millwall coming through the youth ranks before moving on to Blackburn in a £1.85 million deal.
Reid has won 22 for the Republic of Ireland but this is just another rumour until Cardiff boss Dave Jones announces he is a target.
