I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Must win game

A repeat of the Derby massacre on Tuesday night would be nice at Watford today but a win of any kind is more important with the two-week international break coming up. On the upside of the break unless there is a major injury at Watford manager Dave Jones come be almost at full strength by time of the next game against Crystal Place in two weeks time. The treatment room could be cleared out with Ross McCormack, Kevin McNaughton and Warren Feeney becoming available. Dave Jones the City boss said, “After the international break which starts after the match at Watford today we will hopefully have one or two injured players back.
“McCormack, Feeney and McNaughton are all making good progress.
“When they are back that will release Josh Magennis, who needs to go out on loan and gain experience. He is not ready for a regular place at Championship level.
“Overall, we need to move one or two players out to enable us to bring others in.”

Loan signing Kelvin Etuhu is back with his club Manchester City for treatment and remains sidelined for the long-term with it being revealed the Chairman Peter Ridsdale is in talks with his club about his future. Cardiff are hoping for an agreement that would see Etuhu go back to Manceshter City so that would free Boss Dave Jones to look for a new loan signing.

Th 6-1 thrashing of Derby mid-week took away of the heartache of recent games but with the up and down nature of Cardiff this early into the season it would be good to finishing the week off with a win.

Joe Ledley is available after serving his one match ban he picked up against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend and was replaced for the Derby by Stephen McPhail who had just ended a three match ban for a sending-off in game at Reading but after his performance in the Derby game could keep Ledley out of the starting line-up.

THREE CARDIFF PLAYERS IN CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM OF THE WEEK

Each week, the Official Football League website brings you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Team of the Week features the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.

This week, the Coca-Cola Championship Team of the Week features three Cardiff City players – Adam Matthews, Peter Whittingham and Michael Chopra. The Bluebirds secured a 4-0 win away at Watford, and Adam Matthews was key to the clean sheet, and he also scored his first ever senior goal. Two other Cardiff players also made the team of the week and not for the first time. Peter Whittingham gets a place in midfield after scoring twice in the win at Vicarage Road, while striker Michael Chopra is named upfront even though he wasn't on the scoresheet.
