When Cardiff let the young Polish goalkeeper Erwin Sak go this afternoon my first thought he will find it hard to pick up a new team so late in the day. But I was pleasantly surprised to hear he had signed for Wrexham.
Sak was invited to Ninian Park for a trial and impressed enough to be keep on but he never got close to a debut, the closes’ he got to it was to be named on the bench. He went out loan Newport County for a while but came back to take up his normal position third in line for the goalkeepers spot.
I hope the lad find is feet in the Blue Square Premier league and gets his chance.
