I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

All quiet on the phoneline front

According to Chairman Peter Ridsdale there will not be any phone calls out of his office today to other clubs checking available players. Cardiff City boss Dave Jones would like a few more, what manager doesn’t but with door shut tight no new faces for the Cardiff City Stadium, or could he be pulling a flanker, no maybe not. So no one in, but could someone be on the way out! He could be sitting their hoping for one call to come in, two would be better. While in is office manager David Jones will hope there are no calls about his players.

The club only asset is Joe Ledley whose name has been linked to just about every team at the lower end of the Premiership but the club has not received one firm offer much to everyone surprise. With hours to go before the end of the transfer window and rumours have already started, with the Daily Mail saying Wolves has made a bid for £6million-rated Cardiff City winger Ledley no word on how much they are willing to pay, but it is the Daily Mail and they chuck names out like confetti when it comes to transfer rumours.

It could be way Ridsdale is hanging around today instead of heading off to Malaysia on the off chance of a late bid. Ledley has a new contract and will also be sitting out today before signing a new contract with the Bluebirds. So everyone is waiting on 5pm and the window shutting.
