I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

No more signings

Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has shut the door on any more new faces for the Cardiff City Stadium before the closing of the transfer window tomorrow at 5pm. It also looks like no City players will be leave either unless there is a late bid for Joe Ledley which looks unlikely.

Ridsdale is confident Ledley will be a Cardiff after the transfer window shuts and he will sign a new contract within days now the club has given him and his agent the contract to check over. It is not known if there will be a get-out clause if a Premiership club makes a bid but there is likely to be one, but if City were to reach the Premiership it would not be need. On the subject of Ledley Ridsdale siad, “It’s up to Joe and his advisors to see if the numbers are what they are thinking about.
“I expect Joe to sign a new contract. There is a will on both side a for that to happen now.”

Before leaving for another trip to Malaysia tomorrow for talks with Dato Chan Tien Ghee Ridsdale told the South Wales Echo, I don’t expect any more players coming in. “As far as anybody going out, that is out of my control.
“If anyone comes in with a bid which matches our valuation of a player we would consider that.
“But, if I was a betting man, I would think the squad at Doncaster will be the same as that for the match against Newcastle.”
