I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

McComack missed the boat

Looks very much like Cardiff City striker Ross McCormack will not be getting his wish of Premier League football next season as Hull have lost interest in the striker.

It’s been heavily talked about, written about and shouted about his wish for Premiership football, but the only reported offer was turned down by Cardiff because the offer was too low. Allow Portsmouth show some interest for around 24hours it has been Hull who was the most persistent but the manager of Hull Phil Brown was never happy with the price wanted by Cardiff City. Since then Brown he has been linked with about every striker available.

Brown said: "I'm not convinced they (Cardiff) want to do business and in that case I'm not interested."
Dave Jones said in reply, "They (Hull) want to do the deal with add-ons such as if they stay in the division and how many games he plays etc. So we're a million miles apart at the moment.
"What we've told them, unless they match our valuation they can go and look somewhere else."

McCormack is libel to play some part in the fixture against Blackpool tomorrow, he start last week against Scunthorpe after Chris Burke who would have started becoming ill leaving the way clear for McCormack. Burke is now fully fit so who will start and who will be on the bench.
