Is Wigan Athletic midfielder Ben Watson Cardiff City boss Dave Jones next target?Rumours are popping up on the internet that Cardiff are chasing Wigan’s midfielder Ben Watson, one report is out of Ipswich and if true state they are also interested in the Wigan player. In another report it is Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers and Middlesbrough who are after the players services.
When it comes to a fee you can take you pick, in the Ipswich the report Wigan boss Roberto Martinez wants £1.5m for his player. But in the other rumour story the claim is that the City is about to snap him up on a season loan on the stats front with Wigan he only started six games with four of the bench and scored two goals.
I love rumours we will just have to wait and see what happens but if Wigan are offered cash for Watson cannot see him coming to Cardiff.
