I hate international breaks but I hope it will give Jay Bothroyd time to get fit after he pick up an injury at Doncaster on Saturday. He limped off within ten minutes of the start in the 2-0 defeat with a hamstring strain and it’s not the first time the player has had this injury.Last season he suffered with the same problem and spent time in the treatment room missing several games while the club is concerned that he could have an underlying knee problem which could mean an operation. He will undergo a scan as soon as possible to club have informed the media. Cardiff City boss David Jones, “Jay said he felt something behind his knee.
"We'll have a look at the problem, maybe he didn't stretch properly but we'll check it all out."
Bothroyd has forged a strong partnership with top scorer Michael Chopra, he might not be scoring but the fans appreciate the work he is putting in to his game.
