The UB40s v Cardiff City

Cardiff play their last game of a short Portuguese tour Saturday kick-off 11am before returning to Cardiff for the build-up to the official opening of the new Cardiff City Stadium next Saturday against Scottish giants Celtic.
Tomorrow’s game is slightly unusual has the Bluebirds will the playing the unemployed, that is a President's Select team made up of Portuguese players without clubs. The credit crunch has hit Portuguese with some teams going bust mainly in the lower leagues and teams downsizing their squad right through their ranks. The players are hoping to catch the eye of any attending coaches at the match and maybe a few of them will catch the attention of City boss Dave Jones.
With these players, having something to prove it could be a tough game for Cardiff. Squad options for the game look to be ok was no reported injuries, four of the squad played the full 90 minutes against Fatima Wednesday night, goalkeeper David Marshall and outfield players Mark Hudson, Peter Whittingham and striker Jay Bothroyd they should be on the bench for this game.
