I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Heaton would like to stay

On loan goalkeeper, Tom Heaton has the right idea when it comes to his career get away from Manchester United if he wants regular football. He is hoping that Cardiff City boss Dave Jones will pick him up at the end of the season after a having a reasonably season. The City boss has Peter Enckelman on the books along with two other loan keepers, both of whom have expressed an interest in staying with the City Stuart Taylor (Aston Villa) who had his loan period extended until the end of the season and the Greek international Demitrios Konstantopoulos on loan from Coventry City. There has been no consistency with the goalkeepers is season either by injury or poor form all four of them have played with Heaton having been most between the posts.

Konstantopoulos will more any likely be on his way back to his club and with boss Dave Jones rumoured to be checking out another keeper from Northern Ireland may one of the other loan keeper could be missing from the squad for next season.

Heaton told the South Wales Echo: "I have a year left on my contract and I`m due to go back in the summer - but I think I need to get away now and be playing. I`ve had a taste of it now and I don`t want it to stop."
"It`s hard at United with such top players in my way. I feel I can play in the Premier League and if I can do it with this club that would be brilliant."
"I`ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I love the club and it`s moving in the right direction - we`ll have to see what happens."
