Cardiff need to slowly build up the attendance to the new ground to test the facilities and the staff stewards etc. They will need to get a Health and safely certificate before they can have full capacity in the stadium and all three game should be a sell-out, the first game could be season ticket holder only for the demand is great. The schedule of matches they have arranged is as follows. Saturday,
July 11 ... a Jason Perry XI versus a Roger Gibbins XI in front of a 50 per cent crowd capacity.
On Wednesday, July 22, the Bluebirds meet Chasetown, with the crowd upped a further 20 per cent.
On Saturday, August 1 comes the official ground opening in front of a 90 per cent crowd capacity. The opposition have yet to be announced, but the Bluebirds are chasing a crack European team.
Then comes the first league game, with the Bluebirds likely to sell out ... particularly if they are in the top flight by then.
